Player Code of Conduct
The mission of Walsh Jesuit is to ignite competence, conscience & compassion.
Student-athletes gain immeasurable satisfaction from working hard and mastering physical challenges. They strengthen social relationships by bonding with teammates and interacting with coaches and hone leadership and time management skills. They learn to handle adversity & competition, and they increase their self-esteem.
A strong athletic program ignites cohesiveness and enthusiasm among students, generates loyalty and interest among alumni, and builds awareness of Walsh Jesuit's numerous accomplishments.
Participation in Walsh Jesuit’s athletic program is a privilege for students, coaches, and parents. WJ is committed to fair, honest, and civil competition and conduct. Student-athletes, coaches, and parents must remember they are ambassadors of Walsh Jesuit and must act with honesty, integrity and character at all times.
Most importantly, desire to win should never overshadow being “Men and Women For and With Others.” - AMDG
