Mark Herbele is a BOC certified and Ohio Licensed Athletic Trainer. Mark was hired by the Cleveland Clinic / Akron General in the summer of 1994. Upon being hired, he was placed as the first full time athletic trainer at Walsh Jesuit High School.
While completing his Master’s Degree at Marshall University, he worked for two years as a graduate assistant with their National Championship Thundering Herd Football Team.
Mark attended East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania for his undergraduate degree in sports medicine and completed internships with a variety of collegiate sports as well as high school experience.

Born and raised a resident of Southwick, Massachusetts, he now resides in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife Joanne and children Miranda (WJ class of 21), Nicholas (WJ class of 23) and Madelyn (WJ class of 25).
During his tenure at Walsh Jesuit, Mark has overseen the growth of the sports medicine program through the addition of women’s sports as well as the addition of many men’s sports and other clubs. He now also teaches Freshman Physical Education and is an Assistant Athletic Director.
